I've installed the Uranium effects mod. I've noticed that I'm not seeing my strikes light up on aircraft, as metal smashes into metal. I thought it my shooting, so I set myself up behinda C-47 and just wailed away at it!
I sure was hitting it. Both engines smoked (didn't catch fire) and then the left wing came flying off. Surely I should have seen some pretty big flashes, right? I was flying a P-40M.

It's just the way the 'Effects' package is. If you activate that pack first, then activate Maven's hit effects (You'll get an error, just ignore it), you'll get the effects you're looking for.

We're sorry to hear that Pooch ,
what graphics card are you using ? there is bullets hit flash effect working , configured
and included in Uranium mod but from time to time some guys have issues with not being
able to see bullets hit flash texture with their graphics card ( mostly ATI ) 8)
We might try to change bullet flash texture for the next release .
