DX10 for XP make problem or not? (may be)

I install DX10 for PC and I got problem

-No music in menu
-No campaign (empty)**
-every control back to default**

These happens by DX10 ...or bug?

I'm not sure, but I think DX10 is missing a lot of things compared to DX9.0c, which is what you need for IL-2
Why do you need DX10 for XP? Can you roll back?

Well, no problems here . . .

running XP with DX10 since a while and haven't seen any probs with different games so far.

Forgive me the question: why do you run Il-2 on DX and not in OpenGL Modus?

Guys you mean the so called DX10onXP patch actually works?, are you guys SURE that you are running DX10?, have you tried some game or bench app to check it? O_O

XP does not run DX10 natively. Just install the DirectX Runtime which will update your current DirectX to your PC's and OS's maximum.

Yes i know that and that is what i have allways done, but i do know that there is a "patch" of sorts that claims to bring DX10 to XP, that is why i am asking now if any of you has checked that it actually works.

If you screw up, you have to reformat and reinstall your XP. I would not take chances. Just get windows 7 for god's sake. There is Tiny7 which is free windows 7 with performance tweaks. I use that OS as a tool. But it works for games damn well.

I have no time to format no uninstaller so I am sure I will play with DX10 I can play online and I set everything to my original button now.
happy uninstall program 5.1 can uninstall but I have no license key :veryangry:

Well i DO HAVE DX happy uninstall working because i bought a license for it XD, but i do not have money to upgrade to win7 yet :S
