If you like what you see

Follow these steps to install them

1st download the mod file

http://histomodforum.forumactif.net/dow ... ca7dcc0a68

2nd unzip/unrar the mod file to a temp directory

In it you should find the following folders

\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\P-47
\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\P-47-25

In it you should find the following files

\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\1.jpg
\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\2.jpg
\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\3.jpg
\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\4.jpg
\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\5.jpg
\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\Read Me.txt

3rd add the following folder to the P-47 folder, i.e.

\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\P-47\3do\cockpit

4th move the 'P-47-25' folder and it's contents into the 'cockpit' folder, i.e

\Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27\P-47\3do\cockpit\P-47-25

5th move the 'P-47' folder and it's contents into your 'MODS' folder, i.e.

\MODS\P-47\

NOTE feel free to rename this folder to something else if you like

6th open and check the hier.him file, i.e.

\MODS\P-47\3do\cockpit\P-47-25\hier.him

NOTE there was a 'bug' in the early version, not 100% sure if the mod file has been updated, so check to make sure this file is current. Simply open the hier.him file in a text editor like note pad, search for '[Z_ZMASK]' and make sure you have the 'new' values. Here is the old and new values

old :
[Z_Z_MASK]
Mesh Z_Z_MASK
Parent _ROOT_
Attaching 0 -1 1.39e-008 1.42e-008 4.37e-008 1 -1 2.98e-008 4.4e-008 4.02330 -0.0459629 1.127898

new :
[Z_Z_MASK]
Mesh Z_Z_MASK
Parent _ROOT_
Attaching 0 -1 1.39e-008 1.42e-008 4.37e-008 1 -1 2.98e-008 4.4e-008 4.52330 -0.0459629 1.127898

7th goto http://histomodforum.forumactif.net/dow ... ca7dcc0a68 and thank Freddy for his wonderful cockpit work!

Remember if you want to disable this mod simply put a '-' in front of the folder name in the MODS folder, i.e.

Thanks Smile

Sounds very logical and none too hard to do, but I have to wonder why the download in not already in the Mods/P47/etc format you mentioned in the way virtually every other mod is released :-?

Really beautiful cockpit though.

Because this MOD was not made with HSFX folder structure in mind. Freddy intended the P-47D-25 folder to go in Files\3do\cockpit\, a folder structure you won't find in HSFX. (but you will find it in UP)

ACE is describing how to rearrange it for HSFX.

I had the same problem..

I used yahoo's translator, i.e.

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

Just copy and paste in the following link, i.e.

http://histomodforum.forumactif.net/dow ... ca7dcc0a68

Into the 'Translate a web page' window on the yahoo translate page

Select French to English

Than hit the translate button

You might have to try it more than once.. it is not perfect

PS you will have to make an account there too before you can dl his stuff in that he moved it from where it was

An open forum where anyone could log in and dl without signing in

To a closed forum where you need to make an account and than goto the link to dl it

I currently have HSFX 4.1 installed and running ZutiDSMod 1.12 UP, I have did a search for P-47 mod and come up empty. I have the HUDConfigPal (Zuti) active and HudConfigMod v1 deactivated. The problem is when I run the game with the P-47 cockpit mod installed my game runs but with a big hit in fps and a lot of weird screen displays i.e. double cockpits game freezes, black desktop with icon showing correctly. I also tried to join a member
