I would say it is unlikely as it does little that cannot be done by an A20.

Thousands of Martin B-26 Marauders were delivered to various combat areas. This is a major aeroplane of World War Two. At the time, this was a fast plane for a medium bomber that could carry a big bomb load for a very long distance with good defensive armament.

I feel that it is a beautiful aircraft and I long for the day when I can fly this masterpiece of aeronautical engineering, in IL-2 of course.

The problem seems to be that who ever is currently "working" on this aircraft isn't doing anything. Rather than passing it on to someone who is more motivated and/or talented, the current "owner" of the B-26 project lets it gather dust. And no, I can't do any modding myself. But it's about time for the gloves to come off when it comes to stuff like this. S*&t or get off the pot!

I don't think that is the problem. These projects take a long time to get done, unless you are able to work on them full time. If you want to start a project for which a thread already exists, either here or elsewhere, then just PM the project "owner" to see if it is still active. I'm not aware that there has ever been a problem. Of course not all projects which are started will ever get finished.

As for the B26 it would certainly be a worthwhile addition to the hanger.
