Hi,

I love the HSFX.

Once you get the JSGME Mods Enabler shortcut, then you open the Mods Enabler and switch things to the right to activate them. You can try the History Mods for example which is sweeeet.

It really is a matter of having the correct thing activated as far as campaigns are concerned.

Here is the link to my tech topic on things about the computer combined with IL-2. Look in the ATI Enhancements subtopic with the Troubleshooting guide ( See Table of Contents in the First Post if Necessary ):

Late model ATI drivers have some issues which are covered in a topic by a link there in the ATI Enhancements subtopic with the Troubleshooting guide of my tech topic. Yes, there are bugs with ATI late model drivers and IL2.

Hello Fireskull,

Just one question since you've mentioned on this thread.

I got the U.P 2.0 and the HSFX installed also the switcher for them, where do i find the history mods to download and add on those, there's a specific mod for it to download and add on the game, it's a awesome game and also UP 2.0 and HSFX are awesome, i wanna add those history mods to my game and play and enjoy it even more, there's a site for download those history mods !?

Thanks

The "HSFX History Mods" are found in the HSFX 4.1 or HSFX 4.11 switcher that is called the JSGME Mods Enabler. This actual executable is found in your HSFX registry, meaning the main registry of files for IL-2. Open the main IL-2 folder and scan down the list to a folder icon which is a big yellow "G" of the JSGME folder. If you right click on it, then you get a window of options on how to handle the folder. Look for "Create Shortcut" and click on it. After a shortcut is made in your registry for the JSGME ( sometimes appears last in the list ), then you drag it to where you want a shortcut. The few shortcuts on your desktop, the faster is your computing of IL-2, or performance in other words.

If you have Vista or Win7, then you can drag the icon to your Start symbol in the task bar and then keep dragging it to a spot just before the >> symbol and let it drop there. This will put it in the Icon Tab instead of your Desktop. The Icon Tab of the Task Bar is a far less impact against performance of graphics related things like IL-2 than the Desktop icons.

Once you get the shortcut for the JSGME Mods Enabler, you click on it to open the switcher. In the left column of the Mods Enabler is a bunch of mods. With the HSFX 4.1 and 4.11 add-on for it, the "HSFX History Mods" comes with it.

Remember that activated certain mods can sometimes turn ON or OFF other mods such as the mod campaigns. By the way, adding and managing your collection of mods is quite easy generally with the JSGME Mods Enabler.

Have fun with it! Big Grin

Just so it is clear, you look in the left column of the JSGME Mods Enabler for the mods which are not activated. You use the right arrow button in the middle to switch a mod to the right column which is where the activated mods appear.

You can do this to activate the HSFX History Mods and the DGenOfflineCampaigns.

Good day,

This is the driver that AMD/ATI claims will fix IL-2 problems with image defects:

Hello, ah, good to see..will check it out later today-albeit IL-2 with the workarounds I found is okey now. Except for some minor issues, of course..like that darn text stuff in the first mission.
But maybe that last driver has the magic trix to solve that...

:Smile)

Thorst.
