You may have seen the History channel "dogfights II" episode covering the story of Y-29 during Operation Bodenplatte.
An epic dogfight between German and US fighters took place there, on new year's day of 1945.

This campaign tells the story of 487 squadron, led by Col. Meyer.
Having been moved from Bodney in the UK to Y-29 in Belgium, this unit fought in the battle of the Bulge.
In the weeks before and after Bodenplatte, you can encounter all of the things typical for the period, like V-1's, jets, and ECM.

In addition to the original unmodded campaign, you can now download version 3 which is for version 4.09m with UltraPack v.2.01.

Otherwise, a Dutch fighter campaign is WiP at the moment.
The campaign, called "a string of emerald" , is a Dutch east Indies fighter story, with Buffalo, B-239, Hurricane IIa, Hawk 75A-4, CW-21 and P40 as flyable planes. It's about one third done now. 8)

Due to my vacation, followed by my rig collapsing, the WiP on the dutch campaign mentioned above is not in progress at the moment. hock: nothing to do with the legend of Y-29 obviously but also not worth a new thread. :wink:

I'll finish that new campaign if I can, unless the release of SoW beats me to it.... :mrgreen:
