Heya all

I've been out of the air for a while now, the main reason being that my computer is fried.
It was very hot on my room one day and the cooling fan on my video-card couldn't cope anymore

That aside, i decided to buy a new computer right away, my old one was crumbling away anyways. :roll:
My question being: does Il-2 Sturmovik have any problems with Windows 7?
I tried out the search tool but the word Windows and the number 7 come up quite often, 100 pages of search results actually hock:

It works, you just shouldn't install it to the "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" folder, since these folders are UAC-protected on Windows 7.
Just create some dedicated folder elsewhere, maybe on another partition/drive than your windows installation, and you should be fine.

I've got my disgraced IL-2 development bitch lemon version running on Windows 7 64 Bit, Core i7, 12GB without any issues.

Yes Storebror is 100% correct or you can simple Lower the administrator Level from control panel, but yes the IL2 Works Perfect in WIN7!
