I have searched and found good info, but I want to be certain.

PC problems--longs story--reinstalling Il2.

I have installed Il2 1946 (the one disc DVD).

Now I install patch 4.08 and then 4.09---correct?

Are there any patches before 4.08?--or can I just install 4.08?

My old system was using AAA mod----but now I want to install HSFX?---or Ultrapack?---both?---or what?

Patch Order

IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 4.07m DVD + 4.08m patch + 4.09m + Mod Pack


Either HSFX 4.1 (0r 4.11) or UP 2.1 will get you flying nicely. I recommend getting both and comparing.

You're very welcome.

After you get everything in order, there will be other patches for you to try in the future, such as HSFX 4.11 or UltraPack add-ons.

Remember to consider going to the SAS forum of our website and asking about their mod packs, too. They have nice stuff. There are some other website communities with smaller packs of mods to install after you get a major mod pack. There are many out there. :wink:
