[Template] P-51D Mustang
#1

Good day folks. I know this is just another boring Mustang template, we've seen them all. Well, I spent a great deal of time making this one. My first "Void to Finished" template ever and I just had to share it. I am by no means a master skinner. I have, however, been studying from the best. I have to give props to Phas3e for the base metal layer I used to get my metal layer to where it is. FlyByShooter cannot be left out. After all, he gave me the needed impetous to get this far. Also I need to give Casey1976 his due as he gave me all kinds of good advice on how to do this and that even though he doesn't remember actually doing so. Casey, I took all your work from the Corsair and Sabre you did, tore it apart and put it back together again to see how you did it. There are many others too that gave me the inspiration I needed to get this off the ground. HH_Blaze comes to mind. Since he and I met and started working on templates together, we just can't seem to stop trying to do better.

Anyway, I hope all you skinners out there can make some use of this.

You know, I was gonna try it on my B/C model, but the canopy area didn't quite work out so I may have to make some small alterations, unless you have one for that model laying around somewhere.
