WIP East Balt map

The map is in basic mode, with default textures mainly. Installation in readme.txt. Tested with HSFX 4.1, your missions created in FMB may be readily saved and loaded.

Is it absolutely necessary to use the Mapmods folder? I always use Files/Maps and adjust the all ini there, but it doesn't load that way. Please advise.

Try to do it as given in readme.txt, it is proved to be working.
I shall try your way, too, but give me some time, plz.
EDIT:
Just tried your way, as I understood:
1. Put the map folder into Files/maps folder.
2. Put the all.ini entry into all.ini which resides in Files/maps.
3. Put the "uzin" folder into _tex folder which is in your Files/maps folder.
4. Disable other everywhere residing all.ini, map folder and "uzin" folder by renaming them by "-" prefix.
5. And voila : map loads successfully.
The situation was, I think, explained somewhere at SAS.
Il2 reads preferably files in Mods folder, so it may not be mixed.
EDIT 2:
Chapter How to add maps is at

Uzin, I hate to bother you with my ignorence, but I really would like to fly over your map, so...I get the following message in FMB; "Section (Map 2D) not found in ' maps/uzav_EastBalt08//load.ini".

It probably means I'm doing something wrong, but what?

Don't worry, it is my pleasant duty to help enjoy the map.
Is not the problem with "." at the end of all.ini input which I gave in readme ?
A guy called fritzofpeace had this problem , see SAS page :

reply #9 today and below.
And Epervier solved this issue.
I am guilty. Smile

Hi folks,
really great job on this map and specially to set the airports of Königsberg like the ones from the Berlin map:
DEVAU= Berlin-Tempelhof
Jesau= Berlin-Johannisthal
Gutenfeld= Berlin-Schönefeld/Diepensee

...but anyway, its a great map to do several jobs like Uboatsearch practice, the fall of Eastprussia, the big escape or drowning of Königsberg, the russian post war set up, MIGvsF86 germans vs germans etc. ....
keep on keepin on
greetings from
Berlin X-Berg

Just placeholders untill the more reliable info on runway schematics will be obtained. I hope you do not mind. Any help would be appreciated, since Google Earth gives only present state, not that at WWII.
