G'day fellas. I was just wondering if there is any retexturings of the Tarawa map out there? Or maybe if theres one currently under construction? I'm building a campaign that i've been putting alot of work into, and to be honest, the stock Tarawa map is pretty inaccurate seeing it doesn't have any reef or deeper lagoon, or that big board-walk it had. And the airstrip looks nothing like it did. I don't really want to apply missions to it for my campaign the way it is, so i've been working on other locations (notably redko's palaus map - gorgeous).

I've tried my hand at retexturing before, and all i got was crappy and lumpy maps full of bugs and inconsistent texturing, so i know how much work, pain and stress goes into these, and i definately know why i don't even attempt it anymore...

So does anyone know of any Tarawa maps done or being done at the moment?
