with the new TD patch 4.10 out most if not all moders on SAS are going to be making planes for it. there is a patch for UP but what about HSFX? will it work with 4.10 or is there going to be an update?

Currently don't install this over HSFX or you will get an OK vanilla 4.10 (probably) and no HSFX.

A separate clean install is one way.

Another simple way that you could do this would be to:-

i) turn off everything in HSFX with jsgme

ii) extract the contents of 4.10 patch to your desktop

iii) Create a new folder in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\jsgmemods called whatever you want...maybe 4.10 vanilla ?

iv) Put the contents of the extracted patch in this folder. You have now created a switcher and can switch 4.10 vanilla on or off with jsgme...
BUT for the moment its an either/or ... you need to either turn off HSFX to have 4.10..or turn off 4.10 to have HSFX.

I installed the patch straight over. I can run either 4.09m with HSFX or 4.10 with out.

May be a short while till a new patch is arranged by their team.
