Given the picture shown the horse's back would be at about chest height of the rider. A normal war horse would be much taller.

He did indeed, and so far, none of the worthy knights gathered at this thread have secured the magic sword. Woe to the fairest Gertrude, who is lashed to a tree in the clutches of an evil dragon. Is there none in this great forum who is valiant enough to find the answer I seek?

The feathers on his helmet? The sword is hidden on the left side so that is not a fault.

@KG64_Cnopicilin: No, feathers aren't a mistake. It was common practice to embellish armour, especially during a tourney, out of a sense of occaision, an instinctive need to impress, and to aid visual identity. It also has the property of making the wearer seem bigger than he actually is.
@Verhängnis: Nope, knights sometimes went to the seaside too, and I recall Richard the Lionheart conducted an amphibious landing on the beaches of the Holy lands as an example.
Come come good fellows, the Lady Gertrude is in dire straits. What hero could save her from the dragon?

I have just received word that the Dragom of Dreary Dell will give in to its foul instinct and consume the fairest Gertrude (dry roasted of course) if no valiant poster correctly identifies the last deliberate mistake by 10:30am GMT this Friday. An entire day, gentlemen, to right wrongs and ride off into the sunset with the end credits.

It is made in photoshop! The artish is Lauren Reeser. She used a canvas-textured brush, to mimic the roughness and life of oil paint on canvas.

A fair request.
1 - The knight is riding a pony, not a true sturdy breed of horse fit for a chivalric warrior
2 - He bears no heraldry, thus is too shy or embarrased to be known throughout the realm as a knight of his estate.
3 - He wears no gauntlets, a shocking oversight as he cannot announce or acknowledge challenges of honour.
4 - He wears no shoes, thus allowing peasants the possibility of tickling his feet in combat for some dishonoruable purpose.
5 - The horse is undecorated without chamfrom or armour, thus extremely vulnerable and anonymous.
6 - The neck guard of his armour is on the wrong side, a true indication of an imposter who must be drawn and quarterd for his presumption
But now we must realise the challenge has not been met.
7 - (the clue no-one got) is that the saddle, bit, and bridle are modern. Note the chromed steel. Note the tiny rounded saddle without a sturdy back rest.
A herald from Dreary Dell has arrived with news of the unfortunate Gertrude. The Dragon says "Yummm... Aww man this tastes good... Oh yeah... That hit the spot... (belch)"
