Saitek ST290 Pro, almost every day use. I have it for about 3 years now. Still in perfect condition. Cheap and strong, supports Windows 7.

Saitek X52 pro. Not cheap, but I love the HOTAS setup! Before it I had a Saitek ST290. Loved it too. Smile

Well depends really, Do you want a good budget one like the 3D Pro, or a Expensive one?

3D Pro - £25 - £40

Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS, with IJ's Ü2 gimbals and UTM throttle mod, together with Hall-effect sensor kits from Cubpilot. Smooth and precise, this should last a lifetime.

Simped VarioPro rudder pedals connected through the Cougar gameport, but I might as well have chosen the USB version as I don't use single-controller games and don't use it in Cougar profiles programming. With SoW comming, the Simped F-16/USB would have been preferable, in retrospect. Smile

tarmac aces kg13 + throttle
simped f16 pedals
beta innovations controller (3X trim axes, radiator axis and 80+ buttons /switches)

all working on win7
full length stick is a huge plus for immersion(and a big minus on bank balance Tongue )
throttle and pedals are beyond compare

Wooooow...

First impression:
- 310_cibule: We have a legend - oldtimer MS FF 2 Sidewinder Confusedhock:
- In this hard core sim-club nobody mentioned Saitek X / Saitek Aviator ?
- Logitech Extr. 3D pro seems to be gold solution: parformance / investment
- Saitek ST290 Pro : present among hard-flyers... more than expected
- No Thrustmaster 16000M mentioned ?

This is a great real-life sim scanning... Come on WW2 pilots, express your position!

Welcome to the club, boys

I use CH's Pro Throttle as well plus Saitek Pedals plus home made trim box.

I wish Il2 supported more than four peripherals
