[Photos] Fall is coming, here in Germany...
#1

...the sun sits lower, temperature drops a little more and nature's green turns a mix of red, gold and green.

Last weekend we had beautiful sunny days and a perfect blue ceiling, so I had to take my little Powershot A60 with me,
when my "best-in-all-the-world" and me took for a walk.

Hope you like it:

Please don't laugh at me and my "little Powershot A60" - I'm saving my money to buy something really big!
Then you laughers will stop and stand in awe, while I'll rule the world! Tongue  - Just kidding, chaps! 8)

Nice photos, Bearkiller. It's much same in England, though the trees are only just starting to change colour.

It's Red Deer rutting season in Bushy Park (SW London). Lots of bellowing and trying to look tough from the stags, though I didn't see any fights:

What all the fuss is about:

A fallow deer buck ignores all the commotion - they are much less noisy, though they will fight amongst each other.

Nice shots as well, m8, especially the "ladies" shot - the light nicely breaking upon the red fur - beautiful! Big Grin
Also, the stag in pic #2 is neatly outlined by sunlight, giving it an almost "ghostly" appearence... Smile

Trees are only starting to change color over here as well. Fall isn't in "full bloom" so far, but it won't take long,
until everything turns from red, gold & green to grey & grey.

But people in Britain know about this, just as well people in Germany and other northern countries do ...

Why can't we just skip Fall and Winter and go straight to Spring and Summer?!? :Smile)

Thanks for commenting and uploading pics, have a nice Fall 2010 season! Smile

Thanks so much to all of you for your pics and postings! Big Grin

Enjoy the season for it's colors, hues and saturations - it's pure melancholy.

Nature settles for a long sleep - the long, dark, grey nothing will be there soon...

But hey, once that "dark age" has passed us (again), there will be green,
yellow and white emerging from that winter's greyish brown.

I hope, I'll find the time to get to those same places shown above, to capture
the Apple blossoms in full bloom... What a sight!

Thanks again and see ya! 8)
