Fireskull- I can't thank you enough for really pushing nHancer --I would have never thought it would help so much...and creating this masterpiece of tweaking.
nHancer 2.5.9 does not open with the new nVidia drivers, so here is the fix if not already stated somewhere else.
NOTES TO Nvidia card owners with nhancer not launching:

THANKS for the education...Your advice helped me +20FPS!
Also, I thought I would share the results of some testing in hopes of helping anyone else or if you'd like to comment on an imporovement possibility.
You can see all the settings I was able to test and learned alot for a newbie benchmarker.

Result= Choose AFR SLI over AFR_2 SLI
Result: VideoSetUpId=3 edges out over VideoSetUpId=4. Im sticking with 16x, although i have no idea what the breakdown means.
**All early testing used Anti-aliasing Setting: 8xS [Combined: 1x2 SS + 4x MS] and AFR_2 SLI which caused lower framerates
I think I still have some reading to do: My frame rate still drops up to 30 points in game.
EDIT: redko is to blame for this one. Damn you redko! HAHA. 100 planes and 20 ships on Okinawa is a real tester
Ill have to reread to improve further..I wasn't able to change my profile for the il2set.exe. I'm not sure I understand that portion bc of the nhancer differences.
EDIT: ....ABOVE image is my "final" setup settings and below are the end results on Black Death :
"Enhance the Application setting " + 8x AA
