IL-2 Guide for Computers, Benchmarking, Optimizing, Tweaking

made no sense whatsoever to me... then again i failed english last year Smile

RadPig94 Wrote:there's a e-book guide for overclocking, the guy has years of experience and has videos too, mind if i share?

Hi, Radpig

Overclocking requires a good level of knowledge about computer systems, in my humble opinion.

Though my laptop is overclocked with extra cooling that I added, I personally do not get into the details of overclocking in this website because there are so many things that could be done wrong. Damage could be expensive.

I do not encourage posting it, but especially not in my topic here - thank you for asking.

ALLIA29, hello pal

If you want to send a Private Message of this to me in Spanish, I will understand it. My Spanish reading is adequate (adecuado).

Radpig,

Please let's keep the English sections to be English and the Spanish sections are for Spanish.

I am still looking for someone to donate screenshots of ATI / AMD Control Panel for this IL-2 optimizing guide.

Any help please?

Hello Fireskull.
Here are the screenshots of the Control Panel of my old ATI Radeon X1650.

The images are useful for me to understand ATI/AMD issues.

I need images in English,too.

Hi, guys

I have been sooooo busy - sorry for the delay.

What is needed would be graphics settings such as Anti-aliasing, Anisotropic filtering and so forth. I don't care about the monitor settings and the like.

Fireskull Smile

Fireskull- I can't thank you enough for really pushing nHancer --I would have never thought it would help so much...and creating this masterpiece of tweaking.

nHancer 2.5.9 does not open with the new nVidia drivers, so here is the fix if not already stated somewhere else.

NOTES TO Nvidia card owners with nhancer not launching:

I will take a couple days or more to evaluate the issues. If it passes, then I will likely include your little guide into the main body of my tech topic here.

Hey, KatDog

I watched your thread in this forum about cockpit tearing and glad to know you got it solved. The same solution was found by me in the past, but I let you experiment so you could learn the system. I knew that you would find the solution because you love this sort of thing. Fun, isn't it?

If you could do me a little favor and help other people, too: Once you get everything at the best that you think can be done ( give it some time ), can you please post a screen capture of your Inspector, NVIDIA Control Panel IL-2 settings, and hHancer, too? I will look at it and if it looks very good, then I would like to use the images in my IL-2 quality guide, with your permission of course.

Certainly. Lots of fun to understand how it all works. I suppose with a little more time I'll tweak further. Its hard to believe this game still kicks the ass of 2 460s on certain maps and situations. Especially the epic tc_hawaii, populated; then add fraps...

If you check my post above I did add my latest config with Inspector....keep in mind that nHancer doesn't load with the latest 400 series drivers (according to what i read) so Im using Inspector instead. So it would just be Inspector + Control panel. Hopefully I can find another big fps breakthrough. There are so many options in there its insane.
