TIR 5 "6 DOF" was working fine after modding with the latest HSFX last week. Loaded IL2 46 today and only works as in original form (up/down & side/side). I haven't changed anything on my computer or in the game. It still shows up on the activated side of JSGME mods. Any ideas ?
Just figured it out - hit shift F1 to get the gunsight on my Me-109 to centre. 6dof does not work in gunsight mode. Now to get get the gunsight to work without using shift F1 . . .
I have found that by resetting the "center view" with my head slightly lowered allows me to center the gun sight pipper in the 109 by leaning to the right ( which is what real-life 109 pilots had to do). The only German aircraft that this does not work with is the ME 262.
Sights in German aircraft were deliberately offset to the right so that the pilot had to aim using his right eye.
