Salute,

I miss them all, even the bad ones. Infact I miss all the good old tournaments that we used to fly in.

Yeah I miss em all lots of good commaderie even among "enemies".

SOme of the tournaments were great Cold War, Flanders AIr War, War Forces...Flying Coffins was good. Wasn't a big fan of Red Baron World League...Treating War like a Football game was just wrong.

I still check the rb3d servers every now and then, was great when we had 10 guys on-line at once.

The I have a question.... thread seems to be locked though there is one thing I'd like make point from rb3d. Remember the t, e, f and n keys you could use to lock onto other planes, it did have its flaws but I would love CK to have a feature similar to that. I'm not willing to spend £1000 on a new machine and TrackIR just to play ROF, so CK a good alternative for me.

Also when I switched a 30' screen RB3D looked aweful on it (well it came out before widescreen monitors were even made). Will it support 2560x1600?
Hopefully it wouldn't be too demanding, I'd need like a £300 3d card do that with ROF!!!!!

First welcome dogz to CK forums and AAS site Big Grin

Yes CK does support widescreen.
Here is the minimum requirements to run Canvas Knights sim.
viewtopic.php?f=91&t=30218
CK will have the ( E ) and ( F ) padlock keys, we already took the engine
Start off the ( E ) key and put it on the ( I ) key to make way for this.

Sorry if I shouldn't be posting here but I'm not too sure where else to post.

Nice to know its not too demanding, but still it does only state minimum requirements, how about recommended? (I guess if I can't run it at 2560x1600 it's nice to know you offer a windowed mode anyway)

One other thing, any chance of a video being posted on youtube? I remember seeing some IL2 CK videos and it gave a good idea of how the game played.

What I use for a PC to play CK would be conceded middle of the road to low end these days
Its a XP pro, 2 gis ram, AMD 2.6 and a NVIDIA GeForce 7600 and I get 40 to 50 FPS and
The game runs just fine even with a lot going on, we have a few RB players that have their
Old RB PCs that they upgraded to run IL2 and they run CK on them and play right along with
Everyone else and enjoy them self's.
Yes there will be some videos once we have full damage model in CK and putting in full
Damage model is our next big step once every one comes back from the holidays.
