When i try to join a 4.09 game at HL it say that i got an another verision. I got 4.09b1m something like that verision.



And i have downloaded 3 rd eye smoke but i dont know how to install it . Any 1 can help me please.

First 4.09bm1 is DEAD - no one uses that any longer.
You need UP- HSFX- @ 4.09m
or the new patch 4.10m

OH well i download patch 4.09 from google so it should be 4.09 but doesn´t mather. I am download 4.10 istead.


But i dont find any mod folder so i can install mods on it.

you need 4.07 ==> patch 4.08m==>patch 4.09m==> 4.10m.

Get you patches here never from GOOGLE because you never know what you
are getting.

well actually you can still play right from the games online, but you have to play it in LAN mode (like with friends or people in the same house), and both/all the computers have to have the same MODS and aircraft activated

ok here's what you do, Install 4.08 then 4.09, then download and install in order HSFX 4.09, 4.10, an 4.11

and if the folder "mods" doesnt appear just make a new folder in the directory and name it in caps "MODS"

RadPig means HSFX version 4.10, not Il2 version 4.10m.
Try this; Uninstall everything and go back and install il2 1946. this should give you either version 4.07 or 4.08 (When the game starts, you will see the version number on the lower left corner of the loading screen).
Then, download and install il2 official patches 4.08 and/or 4.09m to bring your game up to official version 4.09m. Test after each install to make sure everything is still working.
Now, make a copy of you entire installation of version 4.09m and save it under some other name as a back up.
Next, if you wish to stick with only the official, unmodded game, download and install the latest official patch which is called Il2 1946 version 4.10m.
If you want to try a modded version of the game, go back and copy, again, your backup of version 4.09m and install HSFX to it.
You'll know you have the latest version if the game loads with HSFX 4.11.
Currently HSFX 4.11 and official Il2 1946 version 4.10m are NOT compatible. You must use one or the other to fly online, and the version you are using must match that of the other players.
The good news is, as long as you have space for them on your hard drive, you can have as many copies of Il2 as you want at the same time.

you can still go back to original unmodded game with HSFX installed, just open up JGSME and load "stock 4.09"

I am downloading Ultrapack 2.1 and hsfx come with it i read at IL2 newbie guide.

In that case, follow the instructions I gave but substitute UP for HSFX. DO NOT install either UP or HSFX over 4.10m.
