wow, the ground objects are so badass, It would take a very powerful computer to run this at a decent framerate i assume

Man SOW looks stunning, especially ground visuals and they are not running on maximum settings when they do screenshot aswell???

For all those who say they are not impressed, well what on Earth can you campare SOW to...

well, good 3D models allway are a must have but someting that allway was missed in this game series is the statics life
also there is no life in the il2 series, the maps and statics are built with so few textures for example, you can imagine they used only
one texture to generate the woods and fileds. they could use 10 or more textures.
an exmple: LowLand0 = land/summer/
sk_LowLand0.tga an it causes the "carpet effect"
in game, when you look in woods, grass airfields they look like looping blocks (bricks), about static life, well you can say zero, the human
figures inklusive the pilot models ara like logo models,( i know about mods in those case) when you can zoom such you do in this game
you see no life in pilots face they just sitting there like dummies, no head ,hands or eye movments, when the gunners fire their weapons
only the weapons moves! the gunner sitting and looking forward like an statue and the weapones turns left an right!, when you are back
from mission you just sitting there again like a dummy :evil: you can't go out of plan well you can allways do a bailout :lol: there is no life
no environment sounds, in airfields nothing! and this just kills the temper and feeling!I wanted (and maybe many others too) that the
mission deppending on its options began from briefing rum, or pilots running to their plans and can start taxing to runway from different
places not like they do in il2. I think (like many others) these things are also as important as good 3D models and other futures in game,
as i know many are fixed in SOW but not all of them! If this game has not so many lacks their was no need to modify it.An example is
"Birds of Prey" which has much better futures like 3d models maps and graphics thanIL-2 Sturmovik 1946 but IMO it's nothig to recommend,
it is an arcade game plus in cockpit mod, when you are shutdown the games stops there!some effects are horribel :OO and like IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
no static life either :!: and ...
