I cant add lines to Weapon ru properties. I found it in MODS/Std/i18/. I cant open it , what file i need?

I'm no mod guy or anything but i'm starting to get tired of seeing multiple threads that lead to the same question or answer, but yes, all you do is open up the weapons_ru with notepad, it isn't necessary though, the only thing important in adding aircraft is to add the lines in the air.ini

Sometimes it is necessary to add lines to the ru_properties file in order to modify loadouts for a new plane. It will almost always say so in the readme.

please explain, i'm not familiar to the ru_properties much, i just know about air.ini and weapons_ru. is it needed for the game to run?

The Air.ini deals with the actual aircraft and needs to be perfect. If you try to add a plane to the air.ini file that isn't in the buttons or there is no other reference for, the game will crash.

The weapons.ini deals with load-outs for all the planes and is what the game uses to display load-out options when configuring your plane.

*** NOTE ***
Adding additional weapons to a plane in the weapons.ini file will not necessarily add that load-out to the plane for you to see.
