Hello,

I need to install another instance of Il-2 1946 straight from the box but the setup program recognized the existing installation (Il-2 1946 with UP 2.1) and asks me if I wish to delete it. If I press "No", then the setup closes and I have now way to install Il-2 1946 in another directory.

How could I do this please?

Unless someone tells me how to remove clean Ultre Pack so I can copy/paste my Il-2 1946 4.09m folder instead. However I tried this before and the new Il-2 1946 (the one copied) won't launch...

Here is what you must do:


1) Install outside the Program Files. Definately choose a different location for the installation.

2) It would not hurt to rename the game before installation.

You can create all the folders you want, in each one you copy the contents of the clean installation IL-2 4.09m (vanilla 4.09m).

You are improving with your use of the English, but you missed the meaning of my first post here. Renaming the IL-2 folder is obviously allowing two or more installations without actually saying it that way.

I know I didn't post the image but I thought it was only for Avatars.

There are no signatures allowed here and avatars are not to be animated.
If you do have an avatar animated gift from the old forum please remove it and
Replace it with a non animated jpg, if after some time we see any animated gifts,
then we will remove them ourselves.

But you are an Admin, so you do know best.
