I have noticed a lot of people have made custom ship paint schemes. I personally would like to do that but I do not know how to. Could someone please explain to me how to do this. The only program I have for this is Paint not Gimp. I am wanting to make a bit more historically accurate paint schemes.

i've done it once, all you do is copy void or whatever skin and open it up, but you have to avoid bolts and lines
But with good results, that's the thing.

I am presently running a stock IL-2 1946 with one attempt at mods, the aircraft carrier catapult. I did not have I proper file opener so I could not open it. I use to use some sort of Adobe program I believe for my skinning before paint but I can no longer find the program. :?: :?: :?: Any tips for helping? Oh and how did you get the screenshots? I have tried a video capture before but it failed epicly.
you need to have at least HSFX to have mods
Or even smaller SAS mod activator.
yeah, but with going through the trouble downloading SAS i guess you might as well go with HSFX, that's just me though
Please do not get off topic here. I downloaded that mod a couple years back and could not open it since I did not have a rar opener. Please tell me where I can find these files. I just want to learn that and that is it. I presently while online partake in racing or historical missions unmodded. I right now working on a battle of britian mission for the server.
:| Thanks.
