I've probably had this problem for a long time but I rarely use carriers so I just became aware of this.

In FMB, I can takeoff with only one plane on the carrier but if I put 2 or more planes on the carrier, start the mission, I get immediate CTD with the "no reference to memory or something or other" error message.

There is a mod conflict but not sure which.
I did many tests last night to pinpoint why there is CTD and got the above results.

I have the Carrier Takeoff mod and "Ships" mod but even if they are disabled with _ in front of the name I get the same results.

Happens with all carriers and on stock or mod maps.

This is the Carrier Takeoff mod problem, if I remember correctly. I don't remember the solution.

you probably have conflict with some other AI altering mod
just look into your Mods file, and rename your file with Carrier Takeoff like this: +0_Carrier_Takeoff_5_3_3

I'll check my A/I mod and let y'all know.

hi Fireskull, I don't know if anyone else knows about my problem. I haven't found much info about it.
I might try to re-download the shippack. Maybe I had a bad download of it.
