hey guys. well i tried to play il-2 and when i got to te menu the music didnt turn on and i though o well probably just a little glitch o well. then i tried to play it and i was flying my plane and no sound what so ever!! none at all no shooting sounds no engine sound no menu sounds nothing at all i looked at the conf.ini and i reset the sounduse back to its original setting and i tried it again and no sound i uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and no sound. is there anyway to download the conf.ini to make my sound work again if so please tell me.. and also i need help i got my il-2 sturmovik from direct2drive.com and i am unable to mod it since its from there how do i fix this??!!

IL-2 1946 should have sound immediately without having to do anything. Is mute accidently ON? Does IL-2 1946 have a corrupt file? Is the driver for your computer system got a corrupt file? (As a last resort, try installing the latest drivers.)

The digital download versions must have a special patch to ensure that mods will work.

The patch is included in my IL-2 Newbie Guide, as well as other important instructions.
