hello AAS community sorry for making such a stup** post but i have been trying for some time to order the game online but i cant find the place to buy it .... i have found the main page this one http://il2sturmovik.ubi.com/cliffs-of-d ... B/buy-now/ but when i try to click the buy button nothing happens.... is that a fake page or what ? because i heard about something strange that the collectors edition is fake but i don't believe that ... so if anyone can answer my questions i would really apreciate it

If you buy a disk version it will install off the disk.

Thanks for your answer Planemad. Thing is I have limited Broadband access so downloading games is impossible for me. I mostly buy my games from a software store called Game here in the UK and when I go onto their website they tell me that for this game I need a Steam account and internet access so I'm still thinking that at the moment CoD can't be simply bought over the counter in a store and played straight out of the box. :-?

I too live in England and I know the shop "Game" very well.

You can not buy Cliffs of Dover in any stores across the UK, only from the Ubishop Store HERE or you can buy is as digital download from Steam. Buying from the Ubishop Store it will come as a CD DVD.

i actualy use steam, i dont get why people give steam such a bad rep, i personally have experienced no issues or updating problems with it, and the advantage of not having disks or product keys far outways long start up times, just my opinion, PLEASE DON'T HATE ME :lol:
