I think I remember the Helldiver somewhere, I am not to sure about the Judy.

The Helldiver was in the works for Pacific Fighters, but due to the Northrop Grumman copyright lawsuit any content that was being work on was dropped. Even if it wasn't related to Northrop Grumman in any way shape or form.

But since then Daidalos Team have taken over and they have stated that the Pacific theatre is under developed in the game and they will / are looking at adding new content for the Pacific theatre at a future date, but they will not add or incorporate any thing to do with Northrop Grumman. That said the Helldiver is made by Curtiss so there is hope .

As for the Judy I never heard of it being worked on for Pacific Fighters or by any Modders, maybe Daidalos Team will do it if they think its important enough :?:.

Yeh Team Daidalos wouldn't wanna cause any trouble with NG, they could shut them down. But for now I guess we could just say NG is selfish.

Joking aside the only trouble with the NG lawsuit is it could effect and will deficiently make them think at C1:Maddox what to include or add to any future game like "IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover"

Any way on a lighter note, thanks to TD we should see this in an official patch soon... ish (2 weeks)

I think they should be proud that it's in there, those stupid greedy lawyers make me sick. I wish that they could include planes in the game without BEING sued, but sadly, it is not gonna happen. The lawyers are greedy people working for greedy interests of a company that wishes to start a pissing contest whenever it likes. Always gotta think of some lame excuse. How about a P-61 Black Widow? Sorry for the rant, but I am so sick of hypocrisy and zealous holier-than-thou applications of copyright law. Copyright law has gone to hell in the last few years. It used to be in flight sims that planes could be included without lawsuits. Now we have to worry about fat cat lawyers THAT RUIN HISTORICAL ACCURACY at every turn thanks to their BIG fat paychecks. I am so sick of this shit.
We should help defend them, not stand by and let these assholes ruin our games!

There would probably have been no suit if UBI had approached them for permission. Instead, they deliberately and carelessly went ahead and used the name without permission. In a case like this, if N-G had not sued, they would have lost all rights to the names. Other users, such as plastic model makers, ask for and pay for permission to use the name, which is N-G's property.
It's very unfortunate it turned out this way, but protecting your property from theft is not %#*@# ! [Expletive removed by Fireskull].
BTW, there's probably no problem with using the name if no one is making money from it, such as mods created and provided free.

Well, no it's not, but DESIGNATIONS of airplane should have expired 65 years ago. These were government designations of the airplanes 65 years ago.
