Red Tails (2012) HD Movie Trailer - Lucasfilm Official Trailer

Red Tails (2012) New HD Theatrical Trailer

Red Tails on IMDB

Don't know if this is a remake of TV movie "The Tuskegee Airmen" which is a good film just lacking some special effects, but this looks really good. Just hope they haven't watered down the historical significances of the Red Tails and gone overboard with Hollywood action like in both trailers you see a P-51 do a move more akin to a Foker Dr-1 or a Su 37, but that being said I'm go-nan go see it Smile

What you all think?

The trailer has some mistakes, but I hope it'll end up as a good movie.

I'll tell you exactly what it'll be like. You'll get a few real flying sequences, lots of anachronistic acting, and tons of hyped up CGI sequences to keep audiences interested. Film makers have discovered in recent decades that lots of movement and explosions keeps viewers glued to the screen, so that actors aren't required to be talented, nor required to learn interesting and well written scripts.

Do I sound a bit cynical? The problem is that the generation who flew these aeroplanes is dying out. The world has moved on and attitudes have changed such that very few people are sufficiently switched on to recreate the mood and behaviour of those who lived through the period, and in any case, however accurate the film might be in most respects, the commercial pressure to be a success at the box office and media sales means that few producers will be concerned about realism.

You wait - the areroplanes will all fly combat and crash sequences at 700mph and make maneovers that would snap a real wing off, never mind harm the pilot.
