Long time, no see

Sup!

It's been a long time since I last logged on, I've had a lot of stuff to do as a freshman ( I think it's called a freshman, the school system here is different from the US..) and suffered from PC problems.

I'm glad to announce that I've finally got around building a new PC, it's a beast!
ASUS HD 6950 2Gb
Intel Core i7 2600k @4.5Ghz
16 Gigs of 1333 ram
P8Z68-V LX mobo
OCZ Agility 3 boot drive (17 seconds to boot from pushing the button)
2 terabytes of HDDs

Cheers!

A welcomed return I give you, Cnopicilin. Big Grin

I am very happy to see you again in the website.

Confusedhock: Your computer really is a beast! Wow! You built it? That's amazing.

You should be all set for years with that one. Big Grin

Hey, by the way: Have you tried the VSF - Vehicle Simulator yet? Your computer would render it with fantastic graphics. I'd love to know that you tried Vehicle Simulator and you like it. The thing is wonderful, really.

Anyway: I say again, glad to see you returned. Big Grin

Thanks guys!

Yes, this is the first computer I've ever built - and also my first desktop. I didn't find integrated chips fast enough for me so I decided to step it up a bit Wink
In fact I'm able to max out FSX at stable 30-60FPS which I thought to be impossible!

If you're interested I have some gaming videos on my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/JARMOPOWER

I haven't tried the VFS, I have watched some videos and it seems that IL-2 + FSX -combo will keep me in the air until we get a new sim.

Glad the summer's here, only one exam to go and my first year of college is done Smile

Cnopicilin,

Ah yes - those wonderful days of summer. Smile That means we'll be seeing you often in here, I hope. Smile

The variety of games is wide in your YouTube channel. I see that you like to make things explode.

Yes, they say that Canvas Knights is coming in the foreseeable future. That will be cool, got to try that.

Does your rig have a DDR-3 or DDR-5?

Smile

I'll try to visit here more often, along with different modding sites and hyperlobby as well Big Grin

I'll be sure to try out CK as soon as it's available in a form or another!

The RAM is DDR3, AFAIK DDR5 doesn't exist yet..? The GPU uses GDDR5 though Wink

Oh, and I see that you've subscribed to my channel, thanks (I've got a few subs in the past days, thanks for everyone..)!

EDIT: And happy to be the #1 poster even though I've been off for some time Wink)

Cnopicilin,

GDDR-5 is more important.

Do you have any modding plans?

I have an interesting thought. When this site was launched, I had lost over 1,500 posts in the re-organizing. Could it be that Cnopicilin would have had actually well over 6,000 posts by now had he kept his share of them, too? :OO

Well, if you mean modding my PC I do, I'll sleeve the cables and install rainbow LEDs to the front 200mm fan (default is red).
