I've installed HSFX 6.0 and ran it. Then I used JSGME to activate the HSFX history mod. When activated, the game won't run a mission. When I select a mission and try to load it, nothing happens. Usually a small window appears showing the percent loaded, but that doesn't even appear. When I disable the hotory mod things work again. No other mods have been enabled yet.

Any thoughts?

UPDATE: forgot to disable my MODS folder. Once I did that things started working.

Looks like DeviceLink_2_1 and ZloyPetrushk0_Atm_modv3 interfer with HSFX6.0

I need Devicelink for my external gauges in my cockpit. Is there an update, compatible version, or plans for a compatible version for HSFX6.0?

This in the first post might turn some people away, thinking that all your problems are solved:

UPDATE: forgot to disable my MODS folder. Once I did that things started working.

As a suggestion, I feel that it would have been better to start a different thread for the device link issue. :wink:

I'm checking into your Device Link issue, but something you said before raised a red flag.....
You stated that you forgot to disable your "Mods" folder.

You did install HSFX onto of a CLEAN UN-MODDED COPY of IL-2 didn't you?

Clean 4.11.1...but then copied some mods into a mod folder (not jsgme). Forgot to put a minus in front of the folder before upgrading to HSFX 6.0

Once HSFX ran, I enabled the mod folder and things worked as long as DeviceLink_2_1 and ZloyPetrushk0_Atm_modv3 were not enabled.

Hello everybody!

I have the same problem, the DeviceLink online mod 2.1 does not work together with 4.11.1m + HSFX6.0. The game freezes when clicking the button 'FLY'.
The mod worked perfectly with 4.10.1m + HSFX5.0.1.
Not sure if this has to do with the game-version 4.11.1m itself or with the HSFX6.0 modpack.

The last posting in the thread DeviceLink on-line 2.1 (updated 11/29/2009) in the downloads-section was made on june 2011, is the mod-maker still active?

Thank you very much for the download-link, the mod v2.2 works like a charm with 4.11.1m and HSFX6.0!
Did Fireball not post the new version of his mod here at allaircraftsimulations.com? Do you know where he published it?
