can you explain more! and how did you manage to open these msh files? because MshConverter fails to open these particular msh files.
This mod add new animation.
The author is for 4.10m and I have to 4.12.1M it does not work.

For animations have to work with the classfiles, which are the files containing the code of IL-2 written in Java.
In mesh files can not modify the animations, in any case you can change its form, and change their pivot points.
To work with mesh files you do not use hex editors, you could use for example MshConverter, I usually use it to convert text mesh files, in 3ds files.
But to work with mesh files you use 3ds Max, and the plugins buggy-buggy and Maraz.
With buggy- buggy you can import original meshes from IL-2 (binary mesh files, not text mesh files) to 3ds Max and work with them.
And then you can export them to IL-2 also with buggy- bbuggy and Maraz (I recommend it to you).
