Hi there ! My name is Carl-Eric Sörberg from Lysekil , Sweden. E-mail adress:
csorberg ( at ) gmail ( dot ) com I have downloaded all patches up to 4.12,1 for IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. I am "Testflying" all flyable planes in the game using Quick Mission Builder.
I find it useful to read the Flyable Aircraft Guides including layouts of the cockpits/instrument panels. I have them printed in a folder nation-wise, and can pick one for a specific aircraft. However I cannot find in the patches 4.9 and 4.10 any Aircraft Guides for the flyable planes included in the patches. In 4.10 is also New Weapons presented - among others the German radio -controlled bombs the "Fritz X" and
the "Hs293". Are they also controlable in the Game ? How ?
Can You please give me tips/instructions step by step how to find the answers. I would be very greatful . You are making a magnificent job in the expansion of the original game.
Some Info: I am using "Il-2 Sturmovik Stab , version 6,3 " to make the game more realistic. For controlling the planes I use the Saitek X-65 "Fixed " joystick and I use their "Smart Technology" to program the hatswitches,butons and sliders.

At the 1C Publishing forums for IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, there are a few links to guides for things. YouTube is another source of tutorials, especially on aircraft. Some sources of information were rolled into the 4.12 patch. You will find the "Detailed Plane Guide" or full "Documentation" which includes it at various websites for download.

Your best opportunity is to search for official patch documentation, such as Patch 4.12 Documentation. A few links at websites are dead to information, but persistence is rewarded:

Patch 4.12 has a "Detailed Plane Guide" with over 450 pages which instruct on how to fly all of the 229 flyable aircraft and the link to it is in this thread.
