Adding maps to QMB?
#1

Has anyone found out how or if it's possible to add maps to QMB?

I've been able to substitute the new Desert online map for the Smolensk one quite successfully. (even able to have takeoff not just airstarts)

I was wondering if QMB was capable of running more maps rather than replacing existing ones?

Create a mission with 4 flights of planes each side (Blue/Red) intersecting over combat area on map of choice.(heights/speed/number of planes etc not applicable) Add artillery, ships and stuff to blow up, populate airbases etc. Set takeoff waypoint for all flights if you want to take off instead of airstart. Set landing waypoint for all flights. Save mission as "SmolenskRednone00.mis"

Create the appropriate folders in the files directory (missions/qmb) and place the new mission in there.

Add the lines - missions/qmb/SmolenskRednone00.mis to your filelist.txt and save.

When you select Smolensk and the target is none you will get the new map/mission instead of Smolensk.

Not tested the other flights as yet (was very late  ) to see if they all work but I guess they should.

Targets and other stuff need to be tested and added until a suitable map template is produced.

I have looked at this before, info regarding QMB maps is in files.sfs under the mission folder.

My questions are:
- where is "coral sea" and "pacific islands"?
- where are all of the options other than "none" (with the exception of Okinawa airfield)?
- is it possible to add ground attack orders to some of the flights?
- is it possible to change the plane lists?

It is possible, but at this time, can fly missions overs Marianas with takeoff, can see all maps in QMB choice, but tried some missions.....

Work with marianas but not with norway or Kyushu.... pursuying tests tomorrow and search why norway dont work.... perhaps something like nationality of flights or something near....

Need to work in java class, but have not the original sources.and many decompilation or compilation erros...... if someone has good java sources for the ingame java classes......

Better "czech that boys" than "Check republic".

OT: When our prime minister visited Pakistan, they wanted to make transparents to welcome him. And they put "check flag" into Google. Do you know what was the result? Checkered flag on those transparents

EDIT: OT
