Proposed mod: wind.wav active when flying glider, in parachute, or opening canopy.

Yes! I've read so many accounts of the wind noise over the canopy increasing when taking up speed in a 109, flying 400 kmh and faster, or in a F-4 Phantom II flying mach 1.5.
In fact it should always be there, and when flying 600 to 900 kmh it should be really loud.
So this would be an awesome mod!

Maybe it's just me,

but I swear I had heared wind-sounds

in the rear-gunner position of an IL 2.

Many open cockpit aircraft have it, but it is mostly drowned out by the engine noise. Try a Polikarpov I-16 and shut off it's engine in flight.

OK, so they are there but much too quiet.
Can they be made louder?
And can the issue be solved with some sounds (mostly engine sounds methinks) drowning out other sounds?

Volume level dependent on speed? Open canopy even more volume.

That would be my vote too. I think its the same as with the dive sounds, really.
I thought it would be good if some improved wind-sounds could replace the dive sounds, that would be the only 'proper' way imho.
Though there isn't real wind modeled in the game, wind sound is. It is just very quiet and being drowned out, as pointed out above.
