Hi all,
I'm totally new in this mod-business and I hoped to be able to teach myself by reading the forum and trying this and that. Unfortunately I am not able to use the java based tools offered by QTim.
After fooling around with this stuff and googling for an answer since three days now I gave up and decided to ask for help here.
Problem: Newest Java Runtime Environment is installed, but I find no way to start the tools. Doubleklick on .jar-file as well as calling the discrete .class-files by cmd java... in a DOS-Box didn't work for me. Starting the files by IE wasn't possible too.
I always get error messages stating the files are corrupted (if using IE) or 'exception in threat 'main' java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main' (if using java JRE)
Tuning the settings for environment variable CLASSPATH or calling java with option -cp didn't solve the problem yet.
Your help is really appreciated.
Many thanks in advance
