Has anyone opened map_R.tga

I number of the maps use a map_R.tga image file but I have never found one which will open.

Does anyone know what they do?

Has anyone been able to open and view one?

-- or create a new one?

Haven't found the Slovakia one yet.
Is it one of those with a long number for a file name?

What does it look like when its opened.
What format?
What image size?
What does it do?

In situations like these first add line in SFS Extractor filelist.txt to extract load.ini of desired map.

In your case it's this:

MAPS/Slovakia/load.ini

Maps are in Map.SFS so you extract latest maps.sfs and get load.ini. There you see all of the files used by map and than extract them. For map R you add line in SFS Extractor filelist:

MAPS/Slovakia/map_R.tga

It looks like this.

Format is tga.

512x512 pixels

I don't have any idea what is purpose of that map.

It should be about sea reflections in perfect settings.
I believe the same map_R file could do for every map.
