Rack and Pin Mod Idea
Greetings, I had this thought last night while playing through my ACG Campaign, I was in a P-51B and had used 6DOF to slide over to the right and look through the rack and pin site that is on that aircraft, and it worked!!
It got me thinking how cool it would be if we could take aircraft such as the early model P-40 used by the AVG, remove the optical site and set up a Rack and Pin site on the aircraft.
I know that you wont really get the Rack and Pin feel unless you are using 6DOF, but with both TrackIR and 6DOF it's a whole lot of fun, and would take these early campains and add a little more immersion.
What do ya think? Possible? Worth it?
