Brilliant stuff Fred. I am all over this one! Big Grin

It may be a bit of an ask, but I was wondering if it would be possible to post a notepad file that just contains your new columns and trains? I'd very much like to blend this with my own cheifs.ini

Just a thought....One thing that might prove handy in future for all contributors is to "sign" their work, such as:

[Vehicles.GermanyCarsColumnG] ////FabianFred

That way when doing future edits of .ini's it is easy to see at a glance what the entries are and where they came from.

Edit: Nevermind! Did it the old fashioned way, with two cups of coffee and some cut and paste

good idea about the 'signing'...it would make it easier to see the altered lines of text...

OK .... I've annotated the additional lines with "...............ffb" so they are easy to spot

and made a new version 2 of the mission....this has additional ground vehicles and action..... AAA at the Brit airfield because the Hornisse attacking the harbour then often follow Hurris, which are out of ammo, back home and straffe the base. also added some A/T guns in the British army positions.

and for a laugh tried swapping the players a/c with the il2 sturmovik which has awsome cannons too, plus rockets and bombs....... easy enough to swap back to a hurri

Nice, fun mission. However I was not able to use the new chief.ini, it caused game crash to desktop at 70%. I did a search and could'nt locate any other copies of chief.ini anywhere in my game folder so I don't know what caused the conflict.
Edit; In fact I had to rename the chief.ini to -chief.ini in order to get the game to load past 70%. I don't currently have either the shipmod or destruction mod installed. The only copy of the file is in my STD folder, and it's disabled.
(Sorry if I've highjacked the thread, feel free to redirect me on this if need be).

I've sent a bog standard version of the mission without any 'funny' columns in it, to my website

called "ATA3"

so for this you do not need the chiefs.ini file of mine ...... for those who may have had problems with the earlier one

Looks great but where do I find the Lybia map? :?:

Yeah, it did not work for me either, I never had a chiefs.ini in my Mod... and when I disable it the mission won't load even into FMB. I just wanted to see if you got the desert skins for the tanks to work or not, I can't get any answers on those textures... kind of a drag actually....... there is so much incompatibility with these mods............. good mission on the generic one though

put the chief.ini file into MODS/STD/com/maddox/il2/objects folder ...the static.ini should be there too

I disabled the new chiefs.ini, and enabled the other and the game works, I'm not sure if I have everything you do, but I may be using some other sound mod than you. I also have a technics.ini, stationary.ini and air.ini in the STD folder, along with the static, and your chiefs. I'm using sound mod 0.6 FX, new wrapper and Aircraft loader 2.2.....
