Mod switcher Risk

i've heard that using the Mod switcher might corrupt your Harddrive.
ive used it for quite some time with no problems but im kinda worrying now.

anybody able to confirm if its true or not?

I really seriously doubt it!

All the switcher does is overwrite a couple of files each time you run it.

Your browser probably writes more data to the disk each time you browse this website than the switcher does when run!

Why would that be true... No its not harmfull. Who told u this story ?

mod switcher ?? Big Grin .. you mean windows function copy and the replace file Big Grin ? this is switch ...

game is using windows swap file ( virtual memory) all the time so your HDD gets overwritten constantly ... saving a mission does the same thing .... making a ntrk also writes on your HDD .
So defragment your HDD from time to time and you'll be fine

Only thing you should be afraid of is sudden cut of power while HDD is active ...
