help with it. Your username is Luke771 on thepiratebay.org which is where I downloaded the mod pack. So far everything has worked perfectly except the fact that after install the game's version number was still at 4.09. So I followed the instructions for the version switcher and made it version 4.08 again but with mods on. Then I saw the Russian splash screen like the info said would happen. The only difference from the expected results was the fact that after the splash screen there was no stop to the Russian and letting the English take over. I am very close to being able to have mods.

I just put a stupid poll on the thread to test it out. I am looking for the author of a mod pack. He put together a bunch of mods from from this website and none of them work. All AI planes are supposed to be playable and much more. Go to google and type "how to install IL2 mods" and click the first link that pops up. It should be on the website that I mentioned in the first message on this post.
Ah! I get you now, i have tried them, you are absolutely correct, none of them work, that guy is just a jerk to waste your time, luckely i had a back up copy of the game :lol:
Wait...... so all those files are useless? or are they viruses? Do I need to delete those files that came in the package?????
