It does look great if it ever comes out. However, I cannot say I will buy it as while I like the ETO, I also like the PTO and the other areas of the war which is why I love 1946 and the mods here.

Yes, when it eventually emerges SOW will undoubtedly be stunning. But it will take time, and now, with the MODs that's cropping up, IL-2 got a new lease of life.

i still have reservations regarding SoW and will have until we see/test new game engine cos if those fabulous pics and features would be just a slide show on most systems ( like IL2 demo was ...) i'm not interested .....

It took me six months to get system to run IL2 demo with playable FPS .... and need for upgrade never stopped since

good strategy .... who knows maybe there will be free torrent download for all promised stuff that didn't fit on one DVD .... like with PF and third CD :wink:
