The water is a photoshop remake or u have an addon for water ? cause IS EXCELENT!

this is default water=2 in conf.ini lol

Ok go to: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946

And open up conf.ini

Press Ctrl+F and search for Water.

you will see this:

Sky=2
Forest=2
LandShading=3
LandDetails=2

LandGeom=2
TexLarge=1
TexLandQual=3
TexLandLarge=1

VideoSetupId=3
Water=1
Effects=1
ForceShaders1x=0

PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0


Where it says water=1 change it to water =2.

and change ForceShaders1x=0 to ForceShaders1x=1

Open up your game and it should work if you graphics card can handle it.
