Dear All,
Can anyone help.
I think i've made a mess of my game, so i uninstalled everything, and reinstalled 1946, and am at version 4.07
So i don't mess up again, can anyone advise me on a better procedure to get to 4.09. I have been trying for a couple of weeks, to get 4.09 to install. After downloading it a few times i gave up all i get is error messages, saying the file is corrupt.
I should say i've quite a few add ons. Such as Battle over Europe, The last days, Wings over the citadel, case blau, Rebirth of Honour, Ostfront.
I found that after installing them all i got such things as French ranks for the RAF, intro screens different to standard.
Please understand i'm no expert, coming to pc gaming late in life. I just need some sensible suggestions of how to go about things. Like which files to copy, so i don't get like this again. I really am no expert.
Please forgive my waffling, i hope some of you can help.

That last post will work to a point,But I'll tell you just like Ive told others with uninstall-reinstall problems.Anytime your game messes up and you try to reinstall after you have uninstalled it your still going to have the same problems.What you need to do after you have uninstalled the game is to go into your program files and make sure you delete the game folder that is left behind after the uninstall.I don't know why the game folder gets left out of the uninstall it just does.There could be a corrupted file left in that game folder so get rid of it and then reinstall.Believe me I have learned this from experience.
