Question about gunner/pilot movement
#1

Mr. Jolly, I hope this is the right place to ask this, if not let me know.

I see that you are the Guru when it comes to personnel and what I'm wondering is that if movement can be something in the future for like gunner positions and pilots. In some very dated sims of the past I've seen hand movement and not just head rotation but to a degree XYZ axis movement of the head. One sim that I remember the pilot would extend his arm to open the canopy and we do have the runners out of trucks and downed A/C. Is this possible and if so is it a unnecessary load on the game engine and could cause problems with pauses and lower FR's TIA...

With trackIR in the gunner seat you have a lot more movement than without trackIR.
on the SBD for example with trackIR ,as the gunner I can almost pretty much look around behind me ,
which would be forward and watch where were going as the gunner. You can look up.....way up!

In certain gunner seat's TrackIR goes a long way making it more immersive.

I'm actually talking about the physical movement of the model, pilot or gunner or what ever not the ROV of the user, but thank you Big Grin
