Dear All,
At the moment I am wrestling with a problem with the Bf-109E-1 install. I thought I had it when I found a hyphen was missing in the weapons ru.properties but It still persists.
The problem lies in the FMB and the fact that if you try to call up aircraft 1 to change the scheme the FMB crashes and a ctrl-Alt-Del is necessary. calling up planes 4, 3 or 2 is OK but not 1.
Now, am I right in saying that there must be another error in one of the ini or properties files that allows it only to be this E-1.
Now if I search for these files one at a time, if I find more than one and I pick the file that is NOT in the STD file in the MODS, and remove it the game should load up OK. If it crashes before loading I must merge the 2 files and put the resulting file in the STD file in MODS.
Then I will have only 1 of each ini and properties file and they will all be in the STD file (in the appropriate places) in MODS.
Is this correct??

Right, it is not as I had first thought with regard to the E-1.
Now it seems that if I go into FMB and begin building a mission with the E1. Basically, if you do all the courses for all aircraft except the E-1. Then save the mission and reload it THEN select the E-1, going to properties and then to waypoints and call up the aircraft picture you can then select each aircraft in the group and pick the colour schemes. Then save it and play. So it is possible to make a mission in FMB if you go through the sequence outlined above but of course it does not solve the initial problem. It is annoying if you do not save each point of the mission because you cannot save if the game crashes.
