Well, we have now the 11 and 13lbs Tempest and they are great. We have also the Mosquito B-XVI (great also). And we have as stock an early model Mosquito FB VI.......
Why not to mod a late FB VI model? I think it's an only FM change. Early model (as we have now) had Merlin 21 (1280 hp), intermediate model had Merlin 23 (1390 hp) and late model had Merlin 25 (1620 hp).
I know ther is a lot of projects started an only a few modders, but I think it must be a "more or less" easy mod. I'm not talking about building a new plane from scratch...

I don't, personally. There are so many high performance types already, it's very hard to feel excited about yet another one. These days I find the early stuff much more interesting.
