I like to fly the Ta-183 and pretend that it's an F-86, but I suppose that's my own personal problem...

My question, though, is if anyone else has noticed that the sound of the engine of the Ta-183 is silent while looking straight ahead, except when looking out the sides of the cockpit? Realistic? If not, any suggestions for a fix? I've tried multiple different sound tab/EAX on|off combinations, to no avail, which leads me to believe that for this model, this silence is on purpose...

Why would you want to fly an f86 when you can fly ta183? Mystifying.

To answer your question, theoretically he (or she?) is dreaming of flying IL-2 1946 in Korea war. So that is why he pretend flying Ta-183 as F-86 Sabre temporarily until true F-86 come out, along with MiG-15 for true 1950s dogfighting experiences.
