's nice, it's a shame about the anti-ailising (or however it's spelt). I can't work out how to turn it on on my version of IL2 as well

I can enable it for nearly all other games, and definitely all new ones... I've an saphire radeon x1650pro. I cannot find the program to enable anti alising for IL2 (i had a control panel type thing for an older Nvidia card which allowed you to do just that); nor can i find the options to enable it within IL2's graphics options. I'm sorry to be so useless, but could you give any suggestions?

If you can't get AA to work but you can crank up your resolution without too much of a performance hit, take a screenshot at about twice the res you want and then resize it. I learned this trick back when I used to mod Halo, as it didn't support AA at all.
Failing that, going around the edge pixels with a 1px smudge brush at about 80-90% strength in Photoshop works pretty well, too.

my graphics card supports 2570x1920 (or whatever the resolution was) but my screen won't take above 1024x768. having no aa isn't terrible, i've happily played il2 for years, although it'd be nice if i could get it to work is all.
