Seasons for the beta Channel map ?
#1

Hi everybody,

Back again with map modifying  .
After the slight modification in the (beta) Channel map, I thought that despite the default texs looks great for a summer & early automn map, it would be interesting to give other seasons to it.

1-WINTER:
gray sky, pale colors, some naked trees, a drop of freeze and snow...

Maybe not perfect for winter in UK but using texs of my already released GW winter map pack. So, just one new ini file and a new line in the all.ini !

2-Spring:
Green & bright colors.

I made a new bunch of texs for this one, based on Compans & Flushy texture packs.

Are you interested ?

EDIT : this pack will use the modified features shown there :

That's a definite YES....

Yes, I'd like to see the new textures.

The real challenge is making an autumn map with the colours toned down and orange-brown added.

Nice work, m8!

Will there be a way to switch which seasonal map to use (Option to click?) or would it be a case of removing the added ini file and amending the all.ini accordingly?

Congratulations on this good idea. Very creative.

No, the idea will be to have new maps in the list (FMB) : "Channnel Winter" & "Channel spring" .
